When wrinkles are produced by muscle action, they tend to leave creases in the skin (especially frown lines, for example). In this instance, muscle relaxing injections are used to weaken the muscle causing the frown line. Injection into frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet has been shown to be very successful at significantly reducing them. Good results are obtained after a single injection and may last for many months.
