Radiesse injections consist of very small, smooth calcium hydroxylapitite (CaHA) microspheres that are suspended in a water-based gel carrier. Radiesse stimulates the body to produce new collagen, correcting facial wrinkles. This enables Radiesse to create a natural look that lasts.

Though your body will absorb the gel carrier over time, collagen will start to grow and infiltrate the area in the meantime, thus replacing the gel with your own collagen.
